The Cell Must Grow - Release 0.3:

  • Major change: Added a new type of virus, the bacteriophage ! It attaches to the cell before laying RNA recipes in it, leading to the creation of useless waste tokens.
  • Major change: RNA recipes, DNA recipes, waste tokens and antibodies now decay with time thus generating waste blocks.
  • Minor change: the factories now capture the waste/blue/green/orange blocks based on collision and not at range.
  • Minor change: added particle effect when things decay.
  • Minor change: added particle effect when healers heal something.
  • Minor change: Added waste tokens, similar to the waste block but bigger. You will have to wait for it to decay to get rid of it.
  • Minor change: viruses now start spawning 10 minutes earlier.
  • Minor change: slight increase of the world size.
  • Minor change: slight decrease of the initial density of blue/green/orange blocks in the world.
  • Minor change: increase of the max zoom out.
  • Minor change: decreased unlock price of the efflux pump to 5 for it to be relevant to the early game (when it is needed the most).
  • Minor change: healer now heal on collision and not based on a search in a given range.
  • Minor change: membrane starts decaying one minute later.
  • Minor change: base lifespan of factories/channels/tokens is now 12 minutes instead of 10 minutes.
  • Minor change: added two panels to the tutorial.
  • Minor change: prompt the player to press Esc to go back to the main menu on gameover screen.
